    Good job. It is very nice on the turns.

    It is very fast and Sounds good.

    Before I make a map to use it, I need some help. I am a little ignorant when it comes to Highspeed trains.
    this is the one i use before the "SNCF TGV Thalys PKBA 3. Generation" ?

    Then after a few years I use the other set with the higher HP and top speed?

    Gute Arbeit.

    I don´t understand, how you mean it. In the scenario editor or in the game itself?

    Ich weiß nicht, wie du das meinst. Im Szenario Editor oder im Spiel selber?

    It´s your choice. :zwinkern:

    Low, Thank You for the translation and answer.
    I think I was not clear, Sorry.

    I was trying to ask the history of the Thalys so my game is more accurate.

    Were there 3 versions of the Thalys TGV?

    To have my game correct, I would use the PBA and PBKA from this set. Then use Walter's "SNCF TGV Thalys PKBA 3. Generation" as the 3rd Type?

    See picture.

    Wie ist eigentlich der Standardzugverband von einem Thalys?

    I believe there are just two Thalys types, the PBA, built for Paris-Brussels-Amsterdam and the PBKA, for Paris-Brussels-Köln(Cologne)-Amsterdam. The PBKA was built later, so it got an updated design.

    These are very nice conversions indeed.

    Ich weiss das ich ein Update machen müßte. Doch nachdem nun John eine schönere Version veröffentlicht hat sehe ich das als sinnlos an.
    John´s Zug ist aktuell zu langsam. Der Thalys ist auf 320 km/h zugelassen. Dafür stimmt bei ihm die Leistung.

    I know this with Thalys an update would have to be made. However, there John now a better version has published I do not know this yet whether I makes.
    John's train is topical too slowly. The Thalys is admitted on 320 km/h. For it the achievement is right with him.

    @Locomotionplayer
    Die beigefügte pdf enthält eine typische Zusammensetzung.

    I think what is confusing Lego was a minor typo and the 3rd generation in the name of walters train. He was thinking it was a 3rd type of thalys.

    There are only 2 types of Thaly TGV as stated
    10 PBA Trainsets.
    17 PBKA Trainsets.

    The PBA are dual mode 2nd Generation TGV's
    The PBKA are tri-mode 3rd Generation TGV's

    Thalys had ordered only 3rd generation TGV's. Unfortunately GEC-Alsthom was still making the 2nd generation TGV's at the time of the order Due to problems with the 3rd generation's. If Thalys did not take some 2nd generation trainsets, they would have had no trains when they started operations in june of 1996.

    Thalys took possession of the 2nd generation PBA sets in 1995. they did not go into service until 1996. Some PBKA's also went into service late 1996 the rest arriving from 1996-1998

    As far as my HP and Top speed. they are correct. Walters document shows the 8800Kw and a top speed of 300K/h for the entire trainset in the technical data section. I am not sure what You are saying I have wrong? I know I am missing a 2nd class end car, that would have added 2 more .Dats to the train, I decided to skip that for convenience.

    When running in Germany and operating under 15 kV, power output drops to 4,460 kW for the entire trainset.

    @Locomotionplayer
    Typical train set is:
    PC/1rst-endcar/1rst/1rst/bar/2nd/2nd/2nd/2nd-endcar/PC
    You can see this at http://www.trainweb.org/tgvpages/formations.html#tha
    Use the california server in the top right, the Italy server has bad tables.

    @Lego
    That station name makes no sense in German, only English. But funny.
    Walters trainset is a PBKA. I am glad to see You are using both in the same game though.

    ÜBERSETZUNG

    Ich denke was Lego verwirrt ist die geringe Bezeichnung und das "3. Generation" bei Walter´s Thalys. Er denkt es gibt drei Typen von Thalys.

    Es gibt aber nur 2 Typen vom Thalys:
    10 PBA Züge
    17 PBKA Züge

    Der PBA ist ein Zweisystem-TGV der 2. Generation
    Der PBKA ist ein Dreisystem-TGV der 3. Generation

    Thalys hat nur TGV´s der 3. Generation bestellt. Doch während GEC-Alstom Probleme mit der 3. Generation hat wurden statt dessen Fahrzeuge der 2. Generation geliefert. Wenn Thalys diese Züge nicht genommen hätte, hätten sie nicht ihren Betrieb zum Juni 1996 aufnehmen können.

    Thalys nahm diese Züge 1995 in Besitz. Die PBKA folgten Ende 1996 und später 1998.

    So weit ich weis sind meine Leistung und Spitzengeschwindigkeit korrekt. Walter´s Dokument zeigt das die Leistung bei 8.800 kw und der Topspeed bei 300 km/h liegt. Ich bin nicht überzeugt das ich etwas falsch gemacht habe. Ich weiss das ein 2. Klasse Endwagen fehlt. Doch den habe ich aus Bequemlichkeit weggelassen.

    Auf deutschen Gleisen mit 15 kV sinkt die Leistung auf 4.460 kW.

    @Locomotionplayer
    Typisches Zugset ist:
    Triebkopf/1. KL-Endwagen/1rst/1rst/bar/2nd/2nd/2nd/2. KL-Endwagen/Triebkopf
    Du kannst das hier sehen: http://www.trainweb.org/tgvpages/formations.html#tha

    @Lego
    Dieser Stationsname macht keinen Sinn in deutsch. Nur in englich. Aber ist lustig.
    Walters Zugset ist ein PBKa. Ich freue mich zu sehen das sie denoch beide im Spiel verwendet werden.

    @Johnm
    The Power with your train is quite right. I have not doubted this. However, in August, 2007 the licensing agreed of the Thalys PBKA for the maximum technical speed of 320 km/h. It cannot be only driven. The document of me is old. However, your side is not also the newest one. The Thalys is a non-smoker's train.

    Die Leistung bei dir ist schon richtig. Das habe ich auch nicht bezweifelt. Doch im August 2007 bekam der Thalys die Zulassung für die technische Maximalgeschindigkeit von 320 km/h. Allerdings kann er das nicht fahren. Das Document von mir ist alt. Doch deine Seite ist auch nicht die neueste. Der Thalys ist ein Nichtraucherzug.

    More information then I can absorb.

    Thanks for clearing that up.
    Two trainsets. PBA, PBKA.

    I saw the link on how to build them. That is very handy. Are You planning on doing more TGV's? after going so fast, I want more!

    Walter's description and the fact that the 3 sets of trains looked nothing alike; I thought it was a third type of train.

    meines wissens nach ist der thalys auch im stande 320 km/h zu fahren und ist auch auf diese geschwindigkeit zugelassen. auf deutscher seite [zumindest auf meiner verbindung hier] fährt er allerdings nur maximal 250 auf der schnellfahrstrecke zwischen düren und köln.

    suddenly i heard a tapping, as of someone gently rapping... rapping at my chamber door... you heard me rapping, right?
