    looking at your pictures, There are 2 problems;

    1. Your first problem is you dont have propper signal blocks, Before the switches in, you need a 1 way signal, that you have. But before each platform, you need a 2-way signal so the train will then go in to the next available platform.

    2. you built the station backwards, after the train unloads, it will want to turn around and head back out the entrance. In locomotion, the train always tries to leave the station taking the shortest path. In this case, out the entrance. you should have the train come in the "back" and head out the "front" (facing the next platform). You should be able to use a waypount on the curve behind the platform to try the get the train to leave in the correct direction if you dont want to rebuild it.

After trying the your ICE and looking at IA's, I have noticed yours is very "bright" and washed out. You are loosing a lot of detail because of that. Can You make it not so bright when you lighten it?

You are comming along with Your HQ, Very good. Maybe soon You will the learn UHQ where you blend several renders together for greater image quality. Now there is MHQ with even better renders then HQ or UHQ (see North American pack 2.2 for examples). You will then be able to get the pantos raised and working bogies. Im suprised you figgured out he sound code I snuck into my sets good job.

    looks good. keep it up...

It has been a few years since I have seen this question, If I remember correctly, That is the game capped speed limit.
No train can go faster then that.

Ok, now I'm Confused, Walter Catch Me on MSN and we can figgure this out. But I made the E60 like "legos" so it can be turned into an E60, E63 and Mak 850-BB. then, maybe turned in into a Mak 102-BB, I'm not sure untill i see a blueprint they all seem similar enough.

The E91 should be simple enough.

I Don't need to release the E17, Yours is already out. I don't have any textures for mine anyways, just the model. I would still have to paint it.

    Thank you,

I'm glad You like it. I was planning on doing several of the E- Lok's,
I Even have the E17 done. Walter said he wanted to do those so ill let him. (I think he has relaesed a few since we talked about it a a while back. )

I still plan on making the E63 since it is very similar and it needs moving rods also. I was waiting on feedback on the E60 before I started the E63.

    Sorry,

It looks like it would be fun as in a challange, Like a good puzzle.

I ment it in a positive way, Not sarcasim.

I am very tempted to try it Myself. I am just not that great with curves yet in 3D. As i said, If i was not way behind on my other packs, I would try it now.

The 2 Ends are on one train, It has a "Fighter Jet" looking end and a "Duck Bill" looking end. All the cars are powered from just one pantograph. As far as I can see, They don't turn the train, They keep the "Duck Bill" Side facing Tokyo at all times.

robinH, It looks like the wings are to reduce noise from the Pantograph. At top speed, the train would make so much noise from wind alone that people would complain, Also I think they are to help stop "sonic booms" as it leaves tunnels.
It also has other "wings" that pop out like parachutes to help stop in emergencies (Wind Resistance).

No, I am not doing anything with right now. It looks like it would be fun to make in 3D. But, I have 2 US set pack I am working on right now. Then i want to make an E63 for Walter. Maybe at a later time if no one else has made it by then.

    1. Milwaukee Road EP-2 "Bi-Polar" Passenger Locomotive.
This model is a an MSTS to Lomo conversion Beta without using MSTS2Lomo It was chopped in to several parts to "bend" around turns. It also has parts imported from Trainz Payware Locomotives and pantographs from strongbow on it. includes new sounds

    2. Limited Edition pack 1; Conrail Alcos.
This is a set of old used Alco's that Conrail inherited when it started

    3. Limited Edition pack 2a; New Jersey Transit
This almost every item that the New Jersey Transit has ever owned.
It includes 4 Busses I made in 3D Max as a bonus.

  • Canada vs USA

To be honest, I don't know a Lot about Canadian railways that Don't operate in the USA but I know a little bit.

    For passenger:

Amtrak Is USA (1971+) but does take you into Canada to transfer to VIA (Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto, Windsor).

VIA rail (1978+) is Canadian but does take you into USA to transfer to Amtrak (I am not sure where, I think they used to go all the way to Chicago at one point). The two companies work with each other to a point. I once bought a VIA ticket for a train in Canada at an Amtrak ticket booth in Chicago's Union Station. I then took Amtrak into Canada and changed trains to VIA. You can even buy an unlimited use ticket that is good on almost all Amtrak and via trans for 30 days.

for freight, there is no such "border" between Canada and the United States. many Canadian trains operate in both Canada and many US. US trains also operate in Canada. Canadian National Railway, SOO (now bought by CP) and Canadian Pacific Have both been buying US railroads in the United States. They both own a lot of track and are now just as much a US railroad as they are a Canadian one.

USA trains into Canada.. BNSF (ex ATSF), Norfolk Southern, CSX, Union Pacific Operate in southern Canada.

I live in Chicago and I see Canadian trains just as much as I see US trains.

As far as goods in Carriages. Once Your items are in a carriage, as long as track go there it will find its way. USA, Canada, Mexico, even if 2, 3 or 4 different railroads have to pull it (ship it). I see Ontario Northland Boxcars and other Canadian carriage all the time (Paper, Grain, Lumber Etc.).

Some Mexican trains operate in the United States. I know very little about them other then they use the same locomotives and cars as the US companies..

When I want to play a region in lomo for USA or Canada; I play an area I know, or I look up on-line who operates there and add the correct items or make them real fast.

There is a lot of stuff in my sets, but, i only have out about 10% of US and Canadian trains......

I hope this helps a little.

    Thomas,

I decided to take a look at that BR E60 you wanted, I decided to just make it in MAX instead of converting it from Trainz, I need a picture of what is on the long hood, I know there is some stuff there. I don't know what though.

I don't have a photo that shows me that angle.. If anyone knows?
