I think what You are overlooking . SQ pulled his sets due to lack of respect. He still decided to have a one day Christmas sale and give away his ICE3. The ICE3 that he said he was not going to share.

Some people noticed he used the new 3rd party Locotool beta that adds has a few features left out of the current version for the 1.76 exe.

Instead of asking SQ anything about it. they decided to make a program that breaks it down and makes it old locotool compatible and removes the new features (if any) when you decompile it with the old version. along with a "you don't have the right to do this."

It was even mention to "respect his wishes and let it be" more then once. This was ignored.

Instead this just proved the lack of respect that some people show to those that work hard to give you new toys to play with.

I just hope SQ decides to release it anyways. It would be a well missed train.

I have PM's from You sending me the files and me sending you files and a PM from You saying to use Walter as a translator from now on because bablefish made no since.

I have emails and PM's from Walter with the sounds attached in them. these include several sounds you have never released and ones you made specifically for the US set. Some of your sounds appeared in my sets long before they were released to the public in walters sets. you can verify that with pack dates. You even coded some locomotives yourself.

I can happily forward those to an administrator to verify. If they are pinched. then that is because Walter failed to communicate to you. he said it was all approved. in addition you did receive full credit for every use of the files. you even received credit for when your files were NOT used. Would you like to try to blame me again?

If You had asked I would gladly remove them from my set. I'll warn you now, I will put new sounds in the same filename because to change 750+ trains would destroy 1000's of maps and save games.

I love how You guys decide to blame Me. after all of this. I'll happily remove all of my mods from this forum next weekend then and erase my account. I could honestly care less if my European trains are available or not. They were made specifically for this forum as requests, some for Walter himself. If you don't appreciate them i have no problem removing them. after all, they are a "pathetic pitiful tragedy"

you are obviously missing the point. Walter has never said a word on his behalf other then "i made the train i don't have to prove it".

Once it was proved, We have not heard a single word. people keep saying he apologized, he has done the opposite. It was asked where he was hostile. that thread is unfortunately deleted.

You are also missing the point that once You start ripping off the MSTS community, they will stop allowing conversions. You say "so what he stole some trains?" . It does not effect us. It does effect You! the result is that you WILL loose out on getting permissions for more trains because they say no for any new requests. once they post you are pirate on their forums you might as not bother asking anymore. they will always say no. This is not an illegal conversion, this is piracy to a much larger level. He calmed to Make a model that was not his. then produced a wireframe of someone elses work, blatantly breaking copyright laws.

We already DID loose some additional trains. The admins here can verify that from the email i sent them weeks ago.

I appreciate You findings and and understand why we were outraged by this.

trust us that we would not have made accusations based on nothing, we had the models and the mesh all along.

I am still saddened at what has happened. nothing good can come of this. Walter had good intentions and is a nice guy outside of this incident. There is no question he has done a lot for the community. Unfortunately, Piracy in any form I can not tolerate. It makes me wonder about some other other items that we have been questing before this incident.

So not only was it stolen once. but now again for Fake proof.

All You just did was prove 100% that the train is stolen. That the S-file was decompiled and imported into GMAX. and that there are pirates here at work.

This is highly illegal. I am sorry, but I think someone needs to inform Georg.

It is 100% impossible to convert a TSM train to Gmax. that is why TSM is a dead program and no one uses it. It has No import or export abilities other then to export to MSTS. it also it has no render engine.

there are 100's of topics on this on every MSTS forum asking how to convert a TSM file to MAX or GMAX and the answer is always the same, You cant.

it is next to impossible that Walter's wire frame would be a perfect match to Georg's, that is like DNA or a fingerprint. All You did was post unquestionable proof of theft.

I can not believe You would illegally hack a file to cover someone ones ass.

I am not sure what You would like for me/us to do Thomas? Several people are offend/upset by this situation. Perhaps you should read Strongbow's post he made yesterday. I even said in a previous post if you publicly post Your images I would be happy to appologise to You if you proved Me/Us wrong.

Tell me what would make You happy? Would You like me to collect my models and leave also? Would you like me to ask lego for whatever proof it was he said he had and post it here for him? Tell me please.

Unfortunately, I understand why you are doing this Martin and I completely agree that You have a valid reason. I also understand You do not want to hurt the users of the Fanpage and that this was a very hard decision for You...

I myself am now torn with this same decision as you. I have many updates and some new European items that I made specifically for this page and now have no desire to even post at all. This is a hard choice for all of us.

I think people are straying from what was the discussion here. Perhaps i am misreading things.

It was my understanding that the Jet Trains was proved to be pinched and was no longer the discussion.

I thought at this point we were awaiting proof that the ET304 is indeed Walters model as he claims it is. Then if proof was not provided what are the repercussions.

I think people are getting off topic and not understanding the discussion. It is not about converting a train or stealing a dat. it was about taking a model and claiming you made it. repercussions of what happens when you rip off the MSTS community and/or other other modelers.

I realize that it has been brought up here and people seem to think it is OK to use any MSTS model and do what you wish with it. that was not the discussion at the moment.

already because of this event some models that were available for conversions have possibly been lost. A copy of an email was given to the administrators already and not publicly posted to protect the people.. I think the point people are missing is that we are using material from and working with the MSTS community. Something that they do not have to do and extend to us as a favor. That by stealing from them and upsetting them, it can have severe effects on the entire locomotion community and the availability of models we have the Permission to use in the future.

Lets also not forget that several other members of this forum, especially some of the People that make the mods you use every day are outraged by the lies and the way it appeared to be handled and wanted closure of some kind.

I hate to say it. but perhaps if Stephan Admittedly steals MSTS models. Also that he can not be bothered to post a simple screen shot to help out his best friend in a jam. and that fact that if anyone googles him with the letters "MSTS", You get zero results. may not be such a terrible thing.

But, I am sure he could email a verbal agreement if necessary.

I am honestly surprised they only removed the file base part of the Admin rights until such a time you could clear yourself. the power to remove my posts until all has been truly cleared bothers me. See Martin's post above.

This is about this forum, it's management and what looks like a cover-up at this point. If it was a regular member that was accused of this, they would have been banned and the files removed. this has to do with what "looks like" a moderator is stealing items, refusing to provide proof and it is OK. That sounds like a serious problem in management.

i understand that in building up this forum and making lots of items for this forum, Thomas (Walter) had every intention of trying to help. he also has a lot of fan's that can't believe this would happen.

unfortunately, the cards are on the table. he got caught "possibly" stealing and refuses to bring that forth anything at all in his defense. instead he got upset (as he right fully should if he was telling the truth).

30 seconds would have cleared him and end of discussion. instead, everyone decides that it is legal to make illegal conversions and jump on the piracy train. that makes this whole forum look bad.

I have already had conversations in regards to this very thread and a few MSTS authors have said they will now re-think their policy about about letting the models be used for other projects. this theft has already hurt the locomotion community and ruined the chance at getting a few more MSTS trains into locomotion.

If you want to know about TT-Forum's policy, feel free to open a thread there and talk to them. I am sure if Andel or any other moderator there did this, they would no longer be an admin. as if i had done this i would most likely be banned from there just as i would be from here.

As far as policing that forum, believe it or not, it is policed by the MSTS community itself. Many of My US set Users are the Very people that make the models. They are also my beta testers and correct me on typos, credit mistakes and other errors i make. If i tried this, I would loose my entire set.

I had even been question about it once. I had permission from MSTS maker "A" and repainted it. MSTS Maker "B" thought it was his. I sent the model and the skin along with the permission Email to the person immediately and they we quite happy. Modelmaker "B" even sent me their train to use because it was a more prototypical model/paint job.

I find it extremely difficult to believe that You are so naive to claim that You would have no clue that your very best friend is lying to you about the origin of a train. The same friend that you claim you just spent 10 weeks at his house (So you said in the ET403 thread) to make the ET403.

As far as the ET403 I can no longer believe you. you gave false answers in you explanation. Your reason of You can not raise the panto and it has no interior are totally false Along with most of the explinations of how MSTS models and the graphics work and are made.

You being the master 3D modeler overnight and having the skill to animate a pantograph, You would surly know you can raise the panto for the render. Especially since that would be it's default state in TSM. Also you repeatedly claim it has no interior, Yet, it clearly has an interior with lot of blue seats inside it.

I also find it amazing that every other train you have you have released, you put the credits in your download description unless you "borrowed" the contents. in the case of the jet train, you have no credits listed unless you read the read me. you also did that when you put Mine and Strongbow's sounds in one of your trains. Usually you brag about great things like this, in this case you just snuck it in.

You also almost always put pictures of the MSTS train in all of your descriptions and downloads, this time around you put none. especially for trains you and your friends made. I would think that this would be one you want everyone to see. again, this just helps to make you look guilty.

Thomas, You have a pattern. When break that pattern, something is fishy.

the last time i checked. you can use the "print screen" button and mspaint to get a screen shot. If you cant figgre that out, I have TSM. send me the file and I'll gladly post a picture for you perhaps even appologize.

Right now you are taking us for fools and insulting the 3D artists. Unless You can provide proof of this model, I will also disassociate myself with this forum along with Strongbow and SQ, taking all of my models with me.

@ Banjo. there is was a ton of proof by Lego in the thread you deleted. he had pictures that were undisputed proof of the train was stolen. at this point, it almost look like censorship. make him and the entire thread go away so that the community can not see the problem that we are discussing here. that thread only existed over night for a few hours so most people reading this thread have no idea what we are talking about.

I'm sorry but I think we got a little off topic. the question Was not is it OK to use MSTS in Locomotion without permission.

the topic was the theft of someone Else's model. then claiming it your own. in this case the NALW jet train. You deleted the post before anyone had a chance to see the evidence, almost like a cover up. There was undoubted proof presented in that thread that it was a "borrowed" model. even if Lego was being a little rude, his pictures said everything.

There is no "contest with the yanks". I could care less what You guys are making. I do American trains and anyone else is welcome to makes some. the only "Euro stock" I have ever made were requests.

No as far as using a model for locomotion from MSTS. a digital image of a digital copyrighted item is in violation of copyright laws. end of story.

I think all that was asked was Walter to present some evidence of the trains. none of which has been presented. instead his defense is " I don't have to." I feel it would help the situation if he could provide this. ignoring the situation will not make it go away.

If this forum is going to support model piracy or allow posting of trains without approval of the modelers, I would find that disgraceful.
What You are suggesting illegal and I want no part of that. especially since I have many Friends in the MSTS community.

You can actually put as many products as you want into one vehicle and have an animated state for each, i have trains with 5 animated states. You are right though that it is a lot of work with both graphics and XML especially if you have bogie's on it.

The real problem is the value of the weights do not match for different types. Putting paper and goods and livestock in the same vehicle will screw up the game balance.
