Der rostige Farbgebung ist fantastisch. Ich sollte wirklich versuchen, diesen Stil auf London Underground Züge zu denken, wenn ich die Modellierung zurückzukehren, während meine Universität ist geschlossen für Christmas.

The rusty livery is fantastic. I should really think about trying that style on London Underground trains, when I return to modelling while university is in recess for Christmas.

    OK.
The Gisela works perfect on TRS07. That´s a great train. I love the Detail´s :D
    ( it´s silly,the Gisela doesn´t work on TS2010 ) ^^

Die Gisela läuft nun perfekt auf TRS07.
Komisch das sie nicht auf TS2010 geht ^^ .

Is superscript and the Berliner U-Bahn v2.0 installed on TS2010 too?

    Zitat von marv30

sorry I asked, but how can i use the Superscript?

Sorry das ich wieder frage, aber wie kann ich den Superscript benutzen?
    Gruß

The Superscript code library is a "behind the scenes" add-on which allows the vehicle to generate random fleet numbers.

Oh dear, I think I left the old version on the WebDisc. I'll resolve that. You should download the BVG Gisela 1.1.2.cdp file. That has <kuid:381292:1017>.

Access to the Download Station is conditional upon having a supported product or other form of access such as a First Class Ticket. It is against forum policy to give out serial numbers (Rule 5 this site's Boardregeln). TRS2006 ceased to be supported in September 2010, and the minimum support for my future models are TS2009 WBE, until 31 June 2014.

Hey. Very good train. Well done!
One question: You told in your descriptions that the door-sounds work at every type of station. They don't :(
I use the AJS invisable Stations...The doors open and close, but without sounds.
In the U7 stations there are all features working!
    Could someone help me?
    Thanks
    Regards

It appears that it doesn't work for the S-Bahn BR481 either so the limitation appears to be with the invisible platforms itself. The basic station appears to play the sounds of both fleets, including the Station Platforms series by Bloodnok (Trainz username).

Hi, I'd like to apologise for being in such a busy state due to college. What I am hoping to achieve in the mid-term is not only the completion of the project but also London's rolling stock which you can find in this forum. I've only just found out that programming a destination system in interior view like the IBIS in OMSI is a bit too complex for Trainz so that has to stay as a session command. What I have also struggled with, is trying to get the U-bahnen boarding procedures to work in any station outside the U-bahn, without breaking the MCQ script or editing the station script. I would still look into it but keep an eye out for two other fleet types of mine on this forum.

    Hallo Evil_Genius,

I am delighted to see what you are doing for the Berliner H-Zug.

If you manage it and have the time, it would be great to see how you model both the H and HK Zuges. Well done.

Only for this stage of development. After discovering a major limitation in TRS there will be a delay while I deal with the A Stock project which will have to have its materials split as the alpha map could not be combined with reflective textures in one material. It's a shame because that means the Branderburger Tor marks are impossible, and the reflective material adds a lot of value to the Gisela. :(

However I will be able to provide the couplers as a separate mesh to X2an.

    Here we go...

I came across a major limitation in TRS: alpha map could not be combined with reflective textures in one material. As a result I had to "sandwich" the pram "cel" between the reflective windows.

"Cel", short for celluloid, as in a transparent sheet on which objects are drawn or painted for traditional, hand-drawn animation. In my case it's trying to insert the pram sign without ruining the reflective windows.

I know I might be VERY naggy now, but can you also make the coupler to an additional mesh?

And the Brandenburger Tor pictures that is all over the windows plus the pram sign, is there any possibilities to make those? ;) :D

Maybe just the pram sign. It can later be reskinned for step-free access. I hope to work on that in the new year.

The black film used to improve the appearance of the destination sign is a GI/1E improvement. It can be changed by moving the lighter window (shown by a red arrow) over the black window (shown by a blue arrow), the location shown thus:

And as for the "Brandenburger Tor patterns", I had to leave them out because it would actually ruin the passenger experience of looking out for landmarks from the window.

Also, one important element of 3D modelling is texture mapping. In Max 9 I had to use a function called Unwrap UVW to map the texture to the model properly, to solve the ash problem. I'm not sure what 3D model program you're using to , though. The bogey hasn't failed if it does show up properly. It may be just the texture coordinates need to be tweaked. In 3D modelling, a texture is mapped onto a mesh using vertex coordinates, like this:

By the way, Is there any possible you can make the collectors just in a simple mesh? It would make it easier for me when I am adding meshes to other bogeys, like I did on the normal U-bahn bogey. Just simple meshes with the collectors on, and possibly the couple on the bogey. Would be happy if you did. Thanks! :)

I appreciate the good faith intentions behind the idea but the design between types of rolling stock are not really standard.

What is missing now actually still on the Gisela?

The cab remains although I've been asked to work on the Victoria line 1967 stock too, which has higher level of urgency because they are being withdrawn from service as I speak, and it isn't easy to get into LTM Acton.

Now to my thread I created earlier.

I tried to put together two gisela bogey meshes. By using alpha textures, it will work. But not here. I can't fix this however i am trying! X( The only thing I can see is the orginal mesh, totally black, it's just the Collector that is in colours. But I don't want that black-ugly rests that can't get lost by alphas like they should!! X( X(! Uploading some pictures of my crap. :cursing:

I've posted another update of the train bogeys on the database. I don't know how you managed to convert from Trainz IM to something editable on Blender, Max et. al. but I think the UVW map must have been misaglined. Oh, and the U-Bahn is indeed third rail.

So.. it's on the database?

And as I asked before, is it possible for making a GI/1 (With door handles and something more...) to make the BVB livery realistic? I just love the thought that it might be so wonderful... ^^

    Added it to the DB.

At the time when I first started the project I didn't really expect to go beyond the representation of the modern GI/1E as I saw it. I am not saying that it can't be done but also the car numbers which reflect the modern BVG numbering system are integrated. If necessary I would actually be happy to release the source files if anyone wishes to evolve the GI/1 model further.

It took a while to simplify and align the collector shoe but it is now working in Trainz. I didn't think I needed that many polygons to represent a collector shoe. :D

The collector shoe is supported from <kuid2:381292:1030:3>, the KUID of the bogey.

    Hey Antje
Are you the person that is making the A60 stock for the London Underground.
If you are where are you going to write a thread about it and how is it going along.
    Thanks Aaron12345

Will do. Obviously this is a thread about the Gisela though. ;)

    Hi,

I should be able to help on this request now I have generated the textures for the electricity collector, as we call it in the UK. They are red in colour. However, they are destined for the bogey that provided GI/1E fleet. However I think it should be compatible.

The HK Fleet on the Database also has a bogey <kuid:223519:1311> of its kind but it was retrofitted for Großprofil.

Please note that the A3L71 are narrower than the D57 fleet. This is because the A3L is 2300mm wide as opposed to 2650mm of the D57.

    Gruß Antje.

EDIT: "Work in progress" image enclosed: I'll post another image as the collector mesh develops further.
