I got ask recently if I could explain the timetable in A-Train 9 V5.0 for new players.

Took some days but I managed to upload to Youtube:

    1. Basic Introduction into time tableing (sorry for low audio volume)

    2. Setting a simple time table for 2 trains at one line

    3. Adjusting those time tables to start and end day shift in yard

    4. Run Around trains - locos switch end of trains

    5. Merging and splitting 2 trains so they travel together as one train

(might add more on request but I think I covered almost all topics not self explanatory)

I skipped explaining the obvious options "Wait for Oncoming", "Wait for Arrival" and "Wait for Overtake" as well as Special Time table which you use when you want to have a different behavior of certain trains on same platform on different time frame (e.g. weekday vs. weekend).

PS: after the 4th video you should be able to understand how the earlier recorded video works.

Due to the lack of international forums I make this here bi-lingual, even if modern translation sites don't make it really necessary but maybe some search engines will have easier times finding this.

So "V5.0 Final Edition" is out in Japan for quite some time and - who was able to import, probably did. And applied unofficial English or German language patches. Who not, here is a quick summary:

After the game came out, some add on packs were released. At the end it contained 325 trains. If I remember correctly, V4 Masters Edition in Steam had 100 trains, most likely due to licensing.

However, There is a nice box sold as "V 5.0 DX" containing a thick book and all but one Add on (Train Kit 2).

in November 2024 V5 was released to Steam to Japan region plus the A-Train 9 Train Construction ("A9TC" for short) program, which is globally available. This game is advertised as "V5.0 DX+", most likely containing the Train Kit 2 which brings additional 25 trains to the game. Whats special with this release - you now can make your own trains and import them to the game. It also works with the boxed edition, provided the game is patched to build 5205.

Also end November 2024 ArtDink announced the international release of V5 to steam. But currently it is unclear to what extend the included trains will be.

For those interested, I just posted a link to the unofficial english translation of A Train 9 V5 Final Edition DX at the "A-Train EN Community" - Discord.

It might need still some tweaking here and there but it should be 99+% complete.

Also, I added some articles in English to the Lexicon. Might do more when in mood at some point.

    Feedback is welcome.

Further plan is to make some english tutorials for beginners, and maybe introduce advanded tools and techniques at a later time. We will see.

Ahh, ein Lebenszeichen! Danke!
